snow white skirts

There are few occasions where a white dress is suitable.  White dresses at weddings are largely frowned upon.  And let's face it, a white dress just begs for bolognaise sauce to be dribbled down the front, or for a mysterious substance to smudge its way across my be-hind.

So last Saturday evening we decided to paint the town...white.  I found this dress at a local vintage and retro store and just loved the ample layered skirts and wee little collar.

I wore it with a nice red nanna cardigan, a red belt and my grey glomesh handbag.

And a nice full skirt demands some twirls to and fro. Along with some swishes of hair.

We walked down along the river and made a visit to some bars for a cocktail or two or 5....

Before settling at 1889 Enoteca.  Such a great Italian restaurant, with an even greater wine list. Check out the sweet lamp posts on the street outside! We were extremely thankful to the waiter's kindness (read tolerance) in the face of our excitable mood.

I'd recommend a dish specifically but you could close you eyes and pick randomly from the menu.  You'd still get the most amazing food.

Feeling rotund and happy back at the hotel.

Thank you and goodnight!
